About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman with a minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience to support our architectural team in the preparation of high-quality construction documents. This role focuses on technical drafting, coordination, and drawing production, working under the direction of licensed architects and project managers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an architectural or AEC office
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit for construction documentation
  • Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards and detailing
  • Working knowledge of building materials, assemblies, and construction methods
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and consultant drawings
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Must pass criminal background check and drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or Architecture
  • Experience with multi-family, residential, or commercial project types
  • Familiarity with local codes, zoning, and permit submittal processes
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Revit family creation or office standards experience

Responsibilities

  • Produce architectural drawings in Revit including plans, elevations, sections, and details
  • Assist in developing permit and construction document sets
  • Update drawings based on architect redlines, consultant input, and field conditions
  • Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, civil, and landscape disciplines
  • Maintain Revit models in accordance with office BIM standards
  • Assist with as-built drawings and construction revisions
  • Support RFIs, architectural submittal reviews, and permit revisions
  • Organize drawing sheets, notes, and schedules accurately and consistently
