About The Position

The Draft Service Technician services draft beer equipment and performs hands-on, mechanically based work. The role requires direct communication with customers about installations, timelines, and route coverage. AHFP provides ongoing training, tools, and other resources. The position may involve travel throughout AHFP’s regional footprint, usually limited to weekdays, and evening or weekend work may be required depending on business needs.

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Be results-driven and self-motivated.
Three years of experience in related industries.
Cicerone certification is required of all current AHFP employees.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of draft beer systems.
Mechanical or technical aptitude.
Strong experience in the draft beer industry.

Responsibilities

Assist with route coverage when needed, including AM accounts and venues.
Carry out quarterly preventive maintenance contracts.
Attend facilities to become Micro Matic certified if requested.
Attend other training assigned by AHFP.
Work with and provide training to other employees.
Maintain effective and professional working relationships with assigned accounts, sales representatives, and draft technician department personnel.
Manage, care for, and maintain assigned equipment and tools, including inventory.
Manage the draft service technician vehicle according to AHFP policy.
Perform line cleaning and other non-billable services as dictated by market demands.
