About The Position

Valet Living is hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also called Service Valets, to collect residents’ bagged trash and cardboard recycling from apartment doorsteps and transport it to the community’s on-site compactor. The role services one or more nearby apartment communities within the same local area, with no long-distance driving, bulk item collection, or off-site dumping. Specialists use a mobile app to check in, track their work, and take photos when needed. This is an active, outdoor position involving walking apartment communities, climbing stairs, and working around bagged waste in various weather conditions. To perform the role, workers must use either their own open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of towing an open utility trailer that they provide for the job. Schedules typically provide 10–15 or more evening hours per week, generally Sunday through Thursday, starting after 7:00 or 8:00 PM. Weekend work is generally not scheduled. The listed hourly rate is $25 for workers using a truck and $22 for workers using a non-truck vehicle with a qualifying trailer. DailyPay is available. Gloves, safety vests, and equipment are provided. The role offers referral bonuses and potential career growth, including advancement to Area Leader.
