About The Position

Valet Living is hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also called Service Valets, to collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents’ apartment doorsteps and transport it to an on-site compactor. The role serves one or more nearby apartment communities in the same local area, with no long-distance driving, bulk-item collection, or off-site dumping. Workers use a mobile app to check in, track their work, and take photos when needed. This is active, outdoor evening work involving walking apartment communities, climbing stairs, and working around bagged trash and waste. The schedule is typically 10–15 or more hours per week, generally Sunday through Thursday, starting after 7:00 or 8:00 PM. A truck rate of $18 per hour is offered, or $15 per hour for non-truck work. DailyPay is available. Gloves, safety vests, and equipment are provided. The position may offer career growth; the posting states that half of Area Leaders were promoted from Service Valet positions.
