About The Position

Valet Living is hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also called Service Valets, to collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents’ doorsteps at nearby apartment communities and transport it to the on-site compactor. The role requires an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of towing an open utility trailer, with the trailer used for the job. SUVs, sedans, and vans without a qualifying open bed or trailer do not qualify. Service Valets work independently at one or more nearby communities during evening shifts, typically starting after 7:00 or 8:00 PM. The work involves walking, climbing stairs, and working outdoors. There is no long-distance driving, bulk-item collection, or off-site dumping. Workers use a mobile app to check in, track work, and take photos when needed. The truck rate is $21.00 per hour; the non-truck rate is $18.00 per hour. Schedules are typically 10–15+ hours per week, with most schedules running Sunday through Thursday and no weekends. Benefits and perks mentioned include DailyPay, referral bonuses, provided gloves, safety vests and equipment, and opportunities for career growth. The application window is ongoing.
