Door-to-Door Canvasser - West Vancouver
About The Position
This is a 5-week contract role for a Door-to-Door Canvasser in West Vancouver, BC, starting May 28th, 2026, and ending the week of June 28th, 2026. The role involves approaching and engaging potential voters in Calgary Northeast, requiring physical activity, walking outdoors in all weather conditions, and using a personal vehicle. We are looking for individuals comfortable working in the field, confident speaking with the public, and committed to performing the work diligently.
Requirements
- Must be a conservative voter, or bipartisan with no political affiliations.
- Full-Time Availability: Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday (12:00PM-8:00PM), Sunday (10:00AM-6:00PM).
- Comfortable with standing, walking, and being on your feet for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
- Smartphone required for field data collection.
Nice To Haves
- Previous professional canvassing or field experience is a strong asset.
Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing within assigned neighborhoods on behalf of a political party to understand voter views.
- Ask standardized questions and accurately capture responses.
- Collect contact information when voluntarily provided.
- Represent OSL and clients with professionalism and integrity.
