About The Position

LifeSouth is hiring a Donor Recruitment Representative in Anniston, Alabama, to recruit blood donors and support a steady, reliable blood supply. The role involves connecting with people in the community, promoting blood donation, and helping meet recruitment goals that support hospitals and patients. The position is full-time, with a starting salary range of $19.00–$20.90 per hour. A criminal background check and drug screen are required upon a conditional offer of hire.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet and maintain LifeSouth driver's eligibility requirements.
• Consistent and reliable transportation.
• Motivated, outgoing personality and comfort meeting new people.
• Strong communication and persuasion skills.
• Goal-driven approach and passion for the organization's lifesaving mission.
• Excellent organization and follow-through.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years of sales or marketing experience preferred.
• Sales, marketing, community outreach, or fundraising experience is a plus but not required.
• CDL holders preferred; additional compensation is available.

Responsibilities

• Recruit blood donors through one-on-one interactions at bloodmobiles and donor centers.
• Partner with local businesses, schools, and organizations to set up and coordinate blood drives.
• Conduct community outreach and participate in events and social media efforts to raise awareness and recruit donors.
• Educate and motivate individuals to donate blood by sharing stories and explaining the impact of donations.
• Meet recruitment goals to support hospitals and patients in need.
• Follow up on donor leads and build lasting relationships that encourage repeat donations.
