About The Position
The Donor Greeter works in a fast-paced, varied environment and interacts with donors and customers. The role greets donors promptly, unloads and sorts donations, provides tax receipts, reports daily donor counts, and delivers customer service.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Must be able to regularly lift, push, pull, carry, or otherwise move up to 40 pounds without support.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet donors graciously and promptly within 10 seconds.
- Unload donations from vehicles and offer tax receipts to donors.
- Report an accurate daily donor count.
- Accurately sort and prepare donations for further processing.
- Provide world-class customer service to all customers and donors.
