The Donor Communications Manager (DCM) functions as the project manager and chief writer for direct mail campaigns. This includes but is not limited to campaign briefs, major donor proposals, direct mail letters and mass email copy. The DCM also manages the proposal and reporting responsibilities for assigned foundations. To create this content, the DCM liaises with the field leaders and the Global Projects Manager to collect stories and quantifiable impact measurement. In carrying out campaign project management, the DCM coordinates with the Director of Donor Engagement on campaign timelines, collaborates with Marketing to ensure each piece is fulfilled, and oversees the in-house mailing processes, including oversight and direction of the volunteer lead for in-house mailings.
