About The Position

The Donation Door Attendant greets and assists donors in a fast-paced environment, providing top-notch service. The role assists with unloading vehicles, treats donations respectfully, and sorts donations into the appropriate category containers. The attendant stays busy, helps meet daily goals, cleans donation areas inside and outside, and performs duties according to Easterseals-Goodwill's established Best Practices. The position may also assist with all aspects of operations as directed.

Requirements

• Must be physically and mentally able to perform all job requirements.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and carry throughout the shift, excluding break times.
• Must use hands for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation.
• Must be able to move 20–100 pounds by lifting, team lifting, or using mechanical assistance.
• Must tolerate extreme changes in temperature and humidity.
• Must be able to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
• Must complete a background check; criminal convictions do not automatically bar employment.
