About The Position

The Donation Door Attendant greets and assists donors in a fast-paced environment, providing top-notch service. The role assists with unloading vehicles, treats donations with respect, sorts donations into the proper containers by category, and keeps donation areas clean inside and out. The attendant is expected to be a self-starter, stay busy, strive to meet daily goals, follow ESGW’s established Best Practices, and assist with all aspects of operations as directed.

Requirements

• Requires standing, stooping, bending, and carrying for the entire shift, excluding break times.
• Requires use of hands for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation.
• Requires moving 20–100 pounds by lifting, team lifting, or mechanical assistance.
• Requires tolerance to extreme changes in temperature and humidity.
• Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
• Must be physically and mentally able to perform all job requirements.
• Work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Completion of a background check is required; criminal convictions are not an automatic bar to employment.
