About The Position

The Donation Door Attendant greets and assists donors in a fast-paced environment and provides top-notch service. The role assists with unloading vehicles, treats donations with respect, and sorts donations into appropriate containers by category. The attendant keeps donation areas clean, inside and out, strives to meet daily goals, follows ESGW’s established Best Practices, and assists in all aspects of operations as directed.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and carry for the entire shift, excluding break times.
• Must use hands for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation.
• Must move 20–100 pounds by lifting, team lifting, or with mechanical assistance.
• Must tolerate extreme changes in temperature and humidity.
• Must be able to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
• Must be physically and mentally able to perform all job requirements.
• Work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• All positions require completion of a background check; criminal convictions do not automatically bar employment.
