About The Position

Support clients to enable them to live as independently and safely as possible in their own homes. Play a role in wellbeing, hygiene and happiness! This position involves looking after older Australians across important tasks including general cleaning tasks within client homes, utilising high standards of hygiene, while maintaining and respecting the dignity and privacy of clients. VMCH is a Catholic, for-purpose organisation providing aged care, disability services, retirement living, home care, specialist education and affordable housing across Victoria. With more than 100 years of experience, our workforce of 4,000-plus staff and volunteers are dedicated to supporting 15,000+ people primarily in metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to converse and relate to people with understanding, patience and sensitivity
Strong commitment to service and care
Current Victorian Driver’s License (desired)
Evidence of relevant work permits or Australian residency
Necessary screening checks
