Dog Groomer
About The Position
Feeders Pet Supply is hiring a Dog Groomer to provide grooming and care for customers’ dogs. The role focuses on each dog’s well-being and safety, understanding client requests, identifying dogs’ special needs, and adapting grooming methods to suit individual animals. Groomers perform services including bathing, ear and teeth cleaning, nail trimming, anal gland expressing, and hair trimming. Compensation includes commissions and tips; earnings are based on 100% of the commission managed by the groomer plus tips. Requirements
- At least 1 year of pet grooming experience, unless hired as a candidate who will be trained.
- Animal care education from a reputable academy or grooming program.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.
- Experience working with retail POS systems and inventory systems.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work safely, communicate well with customers, and pay close attention to detail.
Responsibilities

- Communicate with clients to understand the grooming services they want.
- Greet each dog and identify and address any special needs.
- Perform bathing, ear and teeth cleaning, nail trimming, anal gland expressing, and hair trimming.
