About The Position
Dioji K-9 Resort & Athletic Club provides dog daycare, cage-free boarding, bathing services, and retail sales. The Level 1 Associate contributes to all aspects of the business, providing customer service and attentive care to canine guests while helping maintain a clean and safe facility. The role is fast-paced, hands-on, and physically active, and includes extensive training and opportunities for advancement. Starting pay is $16.90 per hour, with frequent opportunities for pay raises.
Requirements
- Share a love of dogs and be comfortable interacting with dogs of all sizes.
- Be comfortable with physical activity and able to remain on your feet for 4–8 hours.
- Be physically able to bend frequently and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Enjoy working as part of a team and learning new skills.
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Supervise dogs in play yards and actively manage their interactions.
- Handle dogs safely while moving throughout the facility.
- Greet clients and assist with check-in and check-out, photos, emails, phone calls, and other customer needs.
- Provide canine care, including feeding, bathing, and other grooming services.
- Clean and perform janitorial duties to maintain a sanitary facility.
- Stock retail inventory, learn product information, and assist with sales.
