About The Position

The Dockworker primarily works in the outside dock area of an AmeriGas facility. The employee unloads empty propane cylinders from trucks, carries them inside the dock area to the refill station, refills them, then moves the filled cylinders back to the dock and reloads them onto trucks for the next day’s delivery. Other duties may include cylinder repair and maintenance, providing customer training on dispensing propane, and handling refills for walk-in customers.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to climb steps or ladders, walk 1–5 miles, and carry multiple propane cylinders weighing up to 75 pounds each.
Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, and climb in and out of trucks.
Candidates must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check; successful applicants must pass the drug screen as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of work experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities
