About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a knowledgeable, customer-focused technician to install, troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair dock and door equipment. The technician performs planned maintenance on customer equipment, welding, maintains a service van and its inventory, and completes paperwork after each job. The role involves extensive travel of more than 20%.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Ability to travel extensively (over 20%).
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Welding experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and customer care skills.

• Technical school graduate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair dock and door equipment.
• Perform assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.
• Perform welding.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork upon completion of each job.
