About The Position

Integrated Home Care Services (IHCS) provides in-home Durable Medical Equipment, Respiratory, Home Health, and Home Infusion services through a network of Medicare- and Medicaid-certified and accredited providers. The DME Cap Denials incumbent reviews patient account open balances, assigns or reviews ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for outpatient medical records, and resubmits claims for incorrect denials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use various computer programs and applications, including EMR/EHR systems.
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Two to three years of healthcare billing and coding support experience within Home Care Services is preferred.
• Medical Biller/Coder certification is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Review patient account open balances.
• Assign or review ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for outpatient medical records.
• Resubmit claims for incorrect denials.
