This is a professional managerial position that is responsible for the implementation of general services procurement, transportation and training initiative particularly in all operational areas of Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) Detention Services. This role directs maintenance staff and coordinates vendors to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective building operations across DJJ facilities throughout Florida. The position also plans, directs, and improves purchasing processes to support the timely acquisition of goods and services at appropriate quality and cost, in accordance with applicable Florida purchasing requirements and DJJ policies. This position must use independent judgement in formulating policies that will affect Detention Services as it relates to general services.
