About The Position

Lincoln International is hosting a day-long M&A workshop at its Chicago Office on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 12 PM to 5 PM CT, followed by a networking event from 5 PM to 10 PM CT. This workshop is designed for rising first-year MBA students who identify as female, LGBTQ+, and/or African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American or Pacific Islander, or are a veteran. The program aims to provide participants with insight into the role of an Associate in a middle-market investment bank and offers networking opportunities with Lincoln bankers. Lincoln International is a global investment banking advisory firm with over 1,400 professionals in 25+ offices across 16 countries, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, private funds and capital markets advisory, and valuations and fairness opinions. The firm emphasizes diversity, equity, and inclusion as a driver of innovation and client service.

Requirements

  • First-year MBA students beginning their MBA program in Fall 2026.
  • Available for a 2027 Summer Associate internship at Lincoln.
  • Interested in working in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Dallas for the duration of the internship.
  • Fluent in accounting and finance.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Assertive, self-motivated and desire to succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior M&A, capital raising or investment banking experience is preferred, but not required.
