About The Position

IMA is offering a summer 2027 internship with its Diversified team. The program combines company-wide learning, networking, and cohort activities with department-specific work, projects, and programming that provide real-world experience and impact. The intern will work with the team at IMA’s Denver office, following a typical five-day-in-office work week. The program is designed as a learning and development opportunity and may serve as a pathway to future employment with IMA. The position is hourly and nonexempt. Interns receive IMA-paid holidays and five days of LifeBalance PTO, which may be used for vacation, sick time, or personal time. Internship roles are not eligible for the benefits programs offered to regular full-time associates.

Requirements

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a program related to a host department, such as Business, Finance, Accounting, or Risk Management and Insurance.
Expected to graduate in Spring 2027, December 2027, or Spring 2028.
Interest in insurance-related roles.
Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to problem-solve, think critically, and provide creative solutions.

Nice To Haves

Involvement in insurance clubs or Gamma Iota Sigma.
Previous work or internship experience in a professional services or similar environment.
Curiosity about future employment in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities
