About The Position

The District Sales Manager is responsible for delivering a positive experience for customers and associates while achieving financial results. The manager inspires and develops future leaders, sets clear expectations, and creates a productive working atmosphere in stores. This position supports 16 stores throughout the NC/Tidewater area. It is remote within the district, with the Raleigh/Durham area preferred, and requires travel to stores.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience.
Valid state driver's license and automotive insurance.
Seven years of relevant work experience, including in-depth knowledge of retail business processes.
Three years of experience leading teams.
Skilled proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Five or more years of experience in retail store management.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate sales and service activities, focusing on an exceptional customer experience.
Support and lead retail stores in executing high merchandising standards.
Monitor reports to forecast sales, margin, and expenses, and develop ways to address performance gaps.
Recruit, interview, select, hire, and promote associates.
Guide, direct, and coach associates; set performance standards, monitor performance, and conduct evaluations.
Oversee and develop district managers and associates while fostering a collaborative environment built on passion, respect, and integrity.
Handle complaints, settle disputes, resolve grievances and conflicts, and negotiate with others.
Perform other related duties as required.
