About The Position

Alcon’s District Manager coaches Account Managers to consultatively sell to Eye Care Practitioners (ECPs) and achieve mutually aligned growth goals. The role leads through coaching, inspiration, collaboration, and strategic execution of Alcon priorities to deliver innovative, value-added solutions to Eye Care Professionals. The ideal candidate resides in Northern Virginia and covers the Northeast Region.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent directly related experience; alternatively, high school plus 13 years, an associate degree plus 9 years, or an M.S. plus 2 years.
• Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Five years of relevant experience.
• Three years of demonstrated leadership.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, coach, and train sales representatives to execute effectively.
• Hold the team accountable for results through coaching, performance management, and appropriate corrective action to achieve team and personal objectives.
• Explain how the organization’s mission, vision, and values relate to the team and its individual members.
• Translate organizational strategy into business plans and drive customer engagement to change ECP behavior.
