About The Position

Responsible for the growth and profitability of the insurance agencies in assigned district. Develops sales activities for assigned district. Manages sales teams to initiate sales and marketing programs and meet the goals of the organization. Analyzes district demographics and modifies the sales and marketing plan to respond to the customer needs and market changes. Recruits, interviews, hires, and develops staff. Develops and initiates action plans to secure new business.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent that preferably includes business or insurance courses
  • Minimum 5 years previous experience with IFBI, at least a segment of that time as an Agent and an Agency Manager
  • Equivalent previous experience with another company considered
  • Valid driver’s license
  • CLU; CHfC; CLF; Series 6 / 63 / 26

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute sales and marketing programs
  • Review and analyze sales performance against programs, quotas, and plans to determine effectiveness
  • Analyze demographics and determines appropriate sales strategy and manpower requirements
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and develop staff
  • Develop and initiate action plans to secure new business
