About The Position

LitLab helps developing readers build confidence and fluency. Founded by teachers, LitLab gives educators the tools to find and create decodable texts, provide students with meaningful reading practice, and understand how their students are progressing, all aligned to their existing curriculum. Today, we reach hundreds of thousands of students. We’re a fast-growing startup and a collaborative, mission-driven team that cares deeply about the teachers and students we serve. We move with urgency and purpose, experiment with bold ideas, and prioritize learning and progress over perfection. We take collective ownership of our work, adapt quickly as we learn, and strive to make every interaction with LitLab thoughtful, useful, and delightful. We're a small team, and you'd be our seventh full-time teammate, reporting directly to (and working very closely with) our CEO. Like everyone here, you'll wear a lot of hats. You'll work across the entire school/district relationship, end to end: bringing new partners on, getting teachers to real classroom usage, and keeping schools engaged year over year. The mix will shift throughout the year: back-to-school is implementation-heavy, while new partnerships become a bigger focus in the spring. We don’t expect you to come in as an expert in every part of the role, but we do expect you to be excited to learn across them. Your work will expand our reach and deepen our classroom impact.

Requirements

Strong track records of learning & growing into new responsibilities.
Credibility with educators on early literacy. Former classroom teachers, literacy coaches, instructional specialists, and school leaders are especially encouraged to apply.
Owned something end to end with real stakes. Relevant experience may include (but is certainly not limited to!): K–12 edtech customer success or sales; running a curriculum rollout across schools; PD or implementation management; managing a district-side vendor relationship; chief-of-staff or ops work at an early-stage company.
Systems literacy and AI competency. Extremely organized and keep your own work in systems, not in your head.
Very fluent with AI tools in your daily workflow.
Low tolerance for AI slop, and yet you've built or restructured how you work with AI.
High comfort running live sessions and talking to school leaders.
Love meeting with educators or school leaders, and can speak clearly about the benefits and value of LitLab, whether that is in a PD or a demo to a district leader.
Sharp judgment and very strong attention to detail.
Move fast without letting things slip, and know which things deserve polish and which just need to ship.

Responsibilities

Lead onboardings and PDs so teachers and admins get to value fast.
Run live sessions across time zones during back-to-school.
Turn an account into actual classroom usage.
Help school and district leaders make sense of their literacy data and their usage.
Deepen engagement, offer support when a school is off-track, drive renewals, and spot expansion opportunities.
Run demos for teachers, principals, and district leaders.
Take inbound interest and warm opportunities and move it forward by pitching, demoing, and more.
Work alongside Varun to cultivate relationships with high-potential districts, and represent LitLab at conferences and events.
Inherit, sharpen, and build AI-native tool workflows.
Bring customer insight back to product, and share what you learn so everyone is constantly improving.
