About The Position

Brodie League is seeking District Managers to join their league operations team in Toronto. This role is for an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit who takes ownership, builds strong teams, and drives operational excellence. The District Manager will be responsible for the performance, consistency, and overall health of a designated group of Brodie League locations, playing a crucial role in expanding Brodie's presence across Ontario by developing strong leaders, ensuring consistency, and delivering high-quality league experiences.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on developing managers who can operate independently.
  • Proven ability to drive adoption of standardized systems and processes.
  • Experience overseeing consistent execution across multiple locations or teams.
  • Effective problem-solver who can triage escalations and resolve issues quickly.
  • Operationally minded with interest in improving efficiency through better workflows or automation.
  • Highly organized, accountable, and detail-oriented.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to on-site locations.
  • Ability to work 5 days in-office at our Toronto HQ based in Liberty Village.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure every location consistently meets the Brodie Standard across game flow, staffing, stats, content, and player experience.
  • Monitor weekly execution and identify gaps early, stepping in before issues escalate.
  • Develop strong, confident location leaders who can operate independently.
  • Act as the first point of support for General and League Managers.
  • Coach leaders through challenges while reinforcing expectations and decision-making.
  • Ensure Brodie systems, playbooks, and workflows are followed consistently.
  • Hold leaders accountable to SOPs, checklists, and operating standards.
  • Identify breakdowns and provide field feedback to continuously improve processes.
  • Support new market launches from planning through execution.
  • Lead market research including facilities, demographics, and competitive landscape.
  • Hire, onboard, and train initial on-site leadership and game-day staff.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure new markets are fully launch-ready.
  • Identify high-friction workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Partner with teams and Tech to implement automation that reduces errors and admin work.
  • Drive adoption of new tools and systems across the district.
