About The Position

The Distribution Technician performs routine and technical duties necessary for the hospital-wide supply and instrument distribution continuum. Duties may include stocking, inventorying, and dispensing supplies and equipment for clinical areas. The role requires working knowledge of handling sterile supplies. The technician is responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of experience in supply acquisition and inventory control in a medical setting.
• Demonstrated steady work experience in a high-volume environment.

Nice To Haves

• Additional experience in warehousing or computer-assisted inventory may be considered.
