About The Position

The Distribution Technician ensures accurate, efficient, and timely distribution of medical and non-medical supplies throughout the facility. The role manages inventory, organizes storage areas, processes supply requests, and coordinates with hospital departments to meet their supply needs. This position does not require patient care and is onsite at 75 Francis Street, with a 40-hour workweek on the evening shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years of warehouse or receiving experience.
Familiarity with medical and non-medical supplies commonly used in a hospital environment.
Basic knowledge of inventory control principles, supply chain processes, and warehouse operations.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling supplies and maintaining records.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting stock checks, monitoring expiration dates, and tracking usage patterns.
Receive and process supply requests from hospital departments.
Organize and coordinate supply distribution to departments, clinics, and other designated areas.
Rotate stock to maintain proper product dating and prevent expiration.
Assist with managing and tracking medical devices, instruments, and reusable supplies.
Follow quality control processes, including visual inspections, product specification verification, and regulatory compliance.
Maintain accurate records of supply transactions, distribution activities, and inventory management.
