About The Position
The Distribution Receiving Tech supports the Frederick Health mission, vision, core values, customer service philosophy, and Compliance Program, including regulatory requirements and Standards of Behavior. The role ensures supplies and equipment are handled according to departmental policy for timely delivery without compromising materials. It supports assigned departments using computerized receiving, inventory, replenishment, and distribution systems. The position may receive and deliver medical and surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, procedure trays, and code cart medication trays between the distribution center, pharmacy, and patient care areas. Basic housekeeping duties are also required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively.

- Previous experience in supply chain distribution and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Handle supplies and equipment in accordance with departmental policy to ensure timely delivery without compromising materials.
- Support assigned departments using computerized receiving, inventory, replenishment, and distribution systems.
- Receive and deliver medical and surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, procedure trays, and code cart medication trays between the distribution center, pharmacy, and patient care areas.
- Perform basic housekeeping duties as required.
