Distribution Receiving Tech - Emergency Relief - Materials Distribution Center
About The Position
The Distribution Receiving Tech supports Frederick Health’s mission, vision, core values, customer service philosophy, and Compliance Program, including applicable regulatory requirements and Standards of Behavior. The role ensures supplies and equipment are handled according to departmental policy so they can be delivered promptly without damage. It supports assigned departments using computerized receiving, inventory, replenishment, and distribution systems. The position may receive and deliver medical and surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, procedure trays, and code cart medication trays between the distribution center, pharmacy, and patient care areas. Basic housekeeping duties are also required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively.

- Previous experience in supply chain distribution and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Handle supplies and equipment according to departmental policy to support timely delivery and protect materials.
- Use computerized receiving, inventory, replenishment, and distribution systems to support assigned departments.
- Receive and deliver medical and surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, procedure trays, and code cart medication trays between the distribution center, pharmacy, and patient care areas.
- Perform basic housekeeping duties as required.
