Distribution Receiving Tech - Materials Distribution Center - Full-time
About The Position
The Distribution Receiving Tech supports Frederick Health's mission, vision, core values, customer service philosophy, Compliance Program, regulatory requirements, and Standards of Behavior. The position ensures supplies and equipment are handled according to departmental policy for timely delivery without compromising the material. It supports assigned departments using computerized receiving, inventory, replenishment, and distribution systems. The role is permitted to receive and deliver medical and surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, procedure trays, and code cart medication trays between the distribution center, pharmacy, and patient care areas. Basic housekeeping duties are also required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively.

- Previous experience in supply chain distribution and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Handle supplies and equipment according to departmental policy to enable timely delivery without compromising materials.
- Use computerized receiving, inventory, replenishment, and distribution systems to support assigned departments.
- Receive and deliver medical and surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, procedure trays, and code cart medication trays between the distribution center, pharmacy, and patient care areas.
- Perform basic housekeeping duties as required.
