About The Position

The Distribution Optimization and Margin Expansion Sr. Manager is responsible for driving measurable cost-to-serve and margin improvement through distribution network and freight optimization initiatives across MedTech Supply Chain Deliver. This role partners with Deliver Operations, Transportation, Planning, Finance, and Digital teams to identify, prioritize, and execute opportunities across key Margin Expansion workstreams (e.g., Air-to-Ocean conversions, Direct Ship enablement, and Shipment Frequency & Consolidation), while strengthening performance management, governance, and value realization across the portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years in technology supporting supply chain, logistics, or transformation roles
  • End-to-end initiative leadership with quantified value delivery
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Knowledge of transportation and distribution trade-offs
  • Strong stakeholder influence and communication skills
  • Experience with KPI governance and reporting

  • Experience with WMS/TMS ecosystems
  • Experience with dashboards/analytics tools
  • Understanding of trade compliance and cross-border logistics

Responsibilities

  • Lead identification, sizing, and prioritization of distribution optimization and Margin Expansion opportunities, translating strategy into an executable pipeline with clear value cases.
  • Drive end-to-end execution of Air-to-Ocean conversions in partnership with Transportation, Planning, and BU stakeholders.
  • Enable Direct Ship expansion by coordinating cross-functional requirements and supporting scalable deployment.
  • Deliver Shipment Frequency & Consolidation improvements through analysis, site readiness, and system/process changes.
  • Own performance management for the portfolio including KPI definition, reporting automation, and operating reviews.
  • Provide governance, RAID management, executive communication, and cross-program dependency management.
  • Drive value realization with Finance, tracking savings and embedding controls to sustain margin improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement related to network resilience, service, and cost-to-serve
  • Support business case development and digital enablement investments
  • Represent program in cross-functional forums
