About The Position
The Distribution Inventory Agent supports inventory accuracy through cycle counts, location audits, and variance research while following the Expeditors inventory control program. The role involves serial-level counts for high-value technology hardware, strict discrepancy escalation, and no unapproved adjustments. The position works on the warehouse floor in a secured, high-value facility. The employee follows an assigned shift pattern and may work overtime as business requires. A background check is required under KP Staffing / Ascend and Expeditors requirements.
Requirements
- Complete a background check per KP Staffing / Ascend and Expeditors requirements.
- Stand and walk for the full shift.
- Lift up to 50 lb, bend, and reach.
- Use ESD-safe handling and required PPE.
- Work the assigned shift pattern; overtime may be required as business requires.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled cycle counts and location audits.
- Research variances and document findings.
- Correct location and labeling issues under direction.
- Support physical inventories.
- Report trends and recurring issues to the supervisor.
- Perform serial-level counts for high-value technology hardware.
- Escalate discrepancies according to requirements; do not make unapproved adjustments.
