About The Position

The Manager of Pharmacy DC Operations oversees day-to-day pharmacy distribution center operations, including receiving, storage, order processing, packing, and shipping of pharmaceutical products and medications. The role ensures efficient and accurate operations that comply with industry regulations and company policies. It also focuses on inventory control, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, process improvement, KPI tracking, and staff leadership, training, and development.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of leadership experience within a distribution center or warehouse.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Verifiable high school diploma or GED, or specialized training such as a technical or vocational program.

Responsibilities

• Ensure distribution center operations are efficient, accurate, and compliant with industry regulations and company policies.
• Assess stock levels and expiration dates, and facilitate proper stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain an adequate supply of critical medications.
• Implement quality assurance measures to ensure pharmaceutical products and medications are handled, stored, and distributed according to established standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare and other applicable regulations related to pharmaceutical product handling, storage, and distribution.
• Integrate process improvements, automation technologies, and standardization methods to streamline workflows and enhance accuracy.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure distribution center efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal and external business partners, providing leadership, functional advice, and staff training as needed.
• Oversee ongoing training programs so team members are knowledgeable and compliant in their respective roles.
