About The Position

The Distribution Center Operations Manager oversees daily distribution center operations, focusing on transportation and/or warehouse management. The manager leads assigned shifts and employees, directly managing warehouse associates and/or drivers. Working closely with the General Manager, the role helps ensure the facility meets safety, compliance, quality, and delivery goals while coaching and developing the team. The manager also contributes to deploying and executing supply chain strategy and driving continuous improvement within the distribution center.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five years of related experience, including 2–3 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Two to three years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ATD quality standards, health and safety requirements, legal compliance, environmental policies, Standard Operating Process deliverables, and general duty of care.
• Manage the team by selecting, recruiting, training, and mentoring employees for development.
• Investigate employee relations or performance concerns promptly and implement disciplinary action as needed, in consultation with Human Resources.
• Lead daily distribution center huddles so employees understand work tasks, expectations, and deliverables, while supporting engagement and a values-based culture.
• Onboard and train team members; coach, motivate, and manage performance.
• Lead and manage day-to-day activities for warehouse associates and/or delivery associates across assigned shifts.
• Provide leadership support to the Distribution Center General Manager.
• Contribute to deploying and executing supply chain strategy and driving continuous improvement within the distribution center.
