About The Position

The Distribution Associate fulfills orders and arranges packed orders for delivery. The role involves interpreting sales orders, pulling the correct products, checking quality, and securely packing and stacking items. The successful candidate may cross-train in other department roles as organizational needs evolve. Work is performed under direct supervision; basic issues are handled independently, while more complex issues are referred to higher-level staff. Duties may change, and other job-related tasks may be assigned.

Requirements

Must be over 21 years of age.
Available for on-site operations work Monday through Friday, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Willing and able to cross-train in various department roles as required.
Strong reading and communication skills.
Self-motivated, team-oriented, diligent, punctual, and ready to work.
Able to lift, push, pull, move, or carry 50 pounds as described in the physical requirements.

Responsibilities

Follow company picking and packing procedures.
Pull products efficiently according to daily orders and ensure order-picking and count accuracy.
Meet order specifications and deadlines set by supervisors.
Report discrepancies and needed adjustments to supervisors.
Handle inventory carefully and with attention to detail.
Perform quality control assessments and package and stack products safely and securely.
Follow good manufacturing practices and required workplace safety practices.
Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and pallet wrappers.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
Undertake other duties as needed in support of business objectives.
