About The Position

The Distribution Associate may work in a variety of warehouse locations and is responsible for picking orders, shipping products, putting away product, and checking orders for accuracy. The role requires accurate order fulfillment, careful packing, maintaining production records, and keeping the work area safe and clean. The position typically works onsite in stable environmental conditions and may involve warehouse-level noise and an above-average amount of physical activity.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent required.
Ability to read, understand, and perform standard procedures and work instructions.
Basic math and logic skills.
Good communication skills.
Detail-oriented and accountable for making accurate decisions under set guidelines.
Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics, such as size, color, and vendor code.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of basic warehousing operations preferred.

Responsibilities

Pick products accurately based on invoices, verifying the product and SKU number while meeting KPIs.
Maintain daily individual production records as required.
Select appropriate boxes or envelopes for shipments to protect items from bending, crushing, or shifting during delivery.
Pack orders neatly and correctly to ensure quality.
Report product-selection or quality errors to the appropriate team member or area, and/or correct orders as necessary before shipment.
Maintain a safe and clean work area and dispose of empty boxes and packaging appropriately.
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure departmental goals are met.
Follow company policies, procedures, and directives regarding workplace behavior while completing duties and assignments.
