About The Position

The Distribution Associate works in a variety of warehouse locations and is responsible for picking orders, shipping products, putting away product, and checking orders for accuracy. The position is typically performed onsite in a warehouse with stable environmental conditions and may involve higher noise levels. It requires an above-average amount of physical activity.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent required.
Ability to read, understand, and follow standard procedures and work instructions.
Basic math and logic skills.
Good communication skills.
Attention to detail and accountability for making accurate decisions under established guidelines.
Ability to read fine print and distinguish products with similar characteristics, including size, color, and vendor code.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of basic warehousing operations.

Responsibilities

Pick products accurately based on invoices, verifying products and SKU numbers while meeting KPIs.
Maintain daily individual production records as required.
Package orders using appropriately sized boxes or envelopes to prevent items from bending, crushing, or shifting during delivery; pack orders neatly and correctly.
Report or correct product selection or quality errors before shipment, as appropriate.
Maintain a safe and clean work area and dispose of empty boxes or packaging appropriately.
Perform other duties as assigned to help meet departmental goals.
Follow company policies, procedures, and directives for workplace behavior while completing duties and assignments.
