About The Position

AmeriLux Family of Companies is hiring a hardworking, driven team member for a production and manufacturing plant. The associate can expect cross-training throughout the plant, with leadership and growth opportunities available. The position offers 12-hour shifts, with first- or second-shift availability and flexible hours.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand a work order.
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
Ability to regularly lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Understanding of technical drawings and schematics.
Proficiency in standard hand tools.

Responsibilities

Operate machines and tools in the assigned area, including drill presses, miter saws, and table saws.
Read and execute sales orders to prepare raw material by cutting it to precise widths and lengths.
Follow company standards and timelines specified in work orders.
Collaborate with the team on safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance metrics.
Regularly lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 pounds as part of daily operations.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
