About The Position

The Distribution Associate supports the distribution department by putting products away in designated storage areas and picking orders according to Work Instructions. The role affixes shipping labels and other documents to shipping containers and helps ensure accurate picking, labeling, and packing so materials move smoothly through warehouse operations. The position is based at 88 Rose Hill Ave., Danbury, Connecticut, and is scheduled for the day shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (8 hours). Pay is listed as DOE.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to operate a pallet jack safely and efficiently.
Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Physical stamina and ability to lift and move boxes and materials as needed.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Use a pallet jack to put away materials in designated warehouse storage locations using company-mandated WMS and ERP systems and following distribution center policies.
Prepare outbound shipments using WMS-issued Pick Tasks, company warehouse management and enterprise resource planning systems, distribution center policies, and customer requirements in Work Instructions.
Affix shipping labels and packing lists accurately and securely to shipping units, including cartons, slip sheets, pallets, and Gaylords.
Inspect labels and shipping units for accuracy, legibility, and compliance with quality standards; report discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
Assist with inventory management, including counting, recording, and organizing stock using mandated WMS and ERP systems.
Follow safety protocols, operate equipment properly, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Collaborate with warehouse associates and distribution team members to meet daily goals and support smooth warehouse operations.
