About The Position

The Distribution Associate picks, checks, packs, and ships orders using appropriate shipping methods and systems. The role requires accurate and productive order processing, product knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The position reports to the Distribution Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience.
• Good basic math skills.
• High productivity level and accuracy.
• Thorough product knowledge.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of AS 400/JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders using invoices to identify locations, items, and quantities.
• Check orders by line item to confirm they were picked correctly.
• Pack orders properly, placing the heaviest items on the bottom and selecting appropriate packing materials.
• Use appropriate shipping systems and shipping methods.
• Accurately pick, check, pack, and ship orders.
• Adapt to changes in assigned duties when necessary.
