About The Position

This position is responsible for the day-to-day clerical responsibilities of a Tyson owned Distribution Center Inventory department. Some of the specific duties include but are not limited to: Answer all questions and issues for all inbound and outbound loads. Oversee freezer audits and directing the day-to-day tasks of the shift researchers. Outbound and inbound in-transit issues. Daily and weekly reports for Inventory Manager. Back up weekly WMS reports. Reconcile Lost inventory, daily tracking of export product that has arrived as well as tracking and communicating on the products in-transit. Tracking and reporting all freezer service charges for prepared exports that include stamping, export certificates and pallets. Coordinate pallets used for deliveries that require both Heat Treated and Chep pallets and supply on hand. Coordinates with sales and production plants on all inbound products, hold status for shipping and release to ship. Communicating with USDA on inspection needs, preparing export certificates, inspection of product with USDA inspector for compliance. Tracks supplies for stamps, stickers, etc. for daily use. Monitor daily product movement through SAP. Relay exports info to designated lift operators. Generating letters, spreadsheets and creating queries.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Inventory Experience preferred.
  • Basic Computer Skills with a preference for the Tyson Computer Systems and understanding of the system features and how to use these features.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers, focused communication style.
  • Must be proficient with data entry.
