About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for the dispatch duties at a Tyson owned logistics/distribution center. This includes checking in all drivers processing, receiving paperwork from drivers, ensuring shipment paperwork is properly routed, registering receipts, completing receivers and assigning drop trailers. This position is also responsible for keeping the dispatch board up to date and generating reports as needed. This position is also responsible for answering phone calls, updating drivers on order status, and responding to carrier emails in regards to appointments, truck allotment, and trailer issues. The work shift is C-Shift: Wednesday – Saturday. Wednesday (12:00PM - 6:00PM); Thursday – Saturday (6:00AM - 6:00PM).

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3 plus years’ experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Resume required to be considered for this role
