About The Position

The Dispensary Associate guides customers on their cannabis journey by educating them about product benefits and potential side effects. The role requires knowledge of products and their effects, excellent customer service, and facilitating customer purchases in accordance with state regulations while providing an exceptional customer experience. The associate may also support online orders and delivery-related tasks as needed. This is a temporary, part-time retail position at Trulieve. The schedule is flexible based on store needs and requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position works up to 25 hours per week and may require availability after hours based on business needs. Pay is $15.15 per hour, and the position is eligible for tips. A comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, is offered.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field or a similar field.
Must be at least 21 years old, or at least 18 years old in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Prior cash-handling experience.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with people at various seniority levels.
Excellent people skills and effective verbal and written communication.
Ability to work effectively without supervision and as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism when communicating with management and staff; ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members.
Conversational English sufficient to work with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment, understand safety procedures, and use telecommunication devices.
Mental and physical capacity to perform the job duties.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background record check.
Ability to move intermittently during the workday and to work effectively with residents, personnel, support agencies, and people who may be ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, or hostile.
Ability to traverse the facility, including confined spaces; communicate and exchange sensitive information; observe and inspect details; and operate computing devices.
Ability to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights; push, pull, lift, carry, or position objects up to 50 pounds; climb stools, ladders, or steps; and crouch, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
Availability for flexible hours based on store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; up to 25 hours per week and after-hours availability as needed.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service.
A valid driver's license and clean driving record to fulfill the delivery driver role.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers, showing empathy and compassion to patients.
Deliver the TruExperience through elevated patient-service standards, behaviors, and product knowledge.
Assist managers and shift supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow Trulieve policies and procedures.
Work with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
Assist customers with product or device issues and work with leadership and management to resolve customer issues.
Document customer issues and concerns on customer profiles.
Maintain a clean and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
Perform other tasks assigned by management and additional team duties as needed.
Assist with delivery-associate tasks as needed, including following Trulieve policies and procedures for delivery associates.
Assist with processing online orders, including deliveries, within a two-hour timeframe.
Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and after hours as required by business needs.
