About The Position

The Dispensary Associate guides customers on their cannabis journey by educating them about product benefits and potential side effects. The role requires product knowledge and excellent customer service, and its primary function is to facilitate customer purchases in accordance with state regulations while providing an exceptional customer experience. The position may also involve delivery-associate duties and online-order support as needed. It is a temporary, part-time position working up to 25 hours per week, with flexible hours based on store needs and availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and after-hours business needs. The stated pay is $15.15 per hour, and the position is eligible for tips. A benefits package including paid time off is offered.

Requirements

High-school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field or a similar field.
At least 21 years of age, or at least 18 in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia.
Prior cash-handling experience.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with people at varying seniority levels.
Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication.
Ability to work effectively without supervision and as part of a team.
Professionalism, business sense, and discretion, including the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members.
Conversational English sufficient to work with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment, understand safety procedures, and use telecommunications devices.
Mental and physical capacity to perform the job duties.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background record check.
Ability to work flexible hours and be available evenings, weekends, holidays, and after hours as business needs require.
For delivery-driver duties: valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday; see and hear, or use prosthetics that enable these senses to function adequately; function independently; and work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies, including people who are ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, or at times hostile.
Physical ability to traverse the facility, including confined spaces; communicate and exchange sensitive information; observe details at varying ranges; and operate computing devices.
Physical ability to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights; push, pull, lift, carry, and position objects up to 50 pounds; climb stools, ladders, or steps; and crouch, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
Ability to remain seated occasionally.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional service to customers, guests, coworkers, and patients, showing empathy and compassion.
Deliver the TruExperience through elevated patient-service standards, behaviors, and product knowledge.
Educate customers about cannabis products, benefits, and potential side effects, and facilitate purchases in accordance with state regulations.
Assist managers and shift supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow Trulieve policies and procedures.
Work with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
Assist customers with product or device issues and work with leadership and management to resolve customer issues.
Document customer issues and concerns on the customer's profile.
Maintain a clean, well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
Perform other tasks assigned by management, including additional team tasks as needed.
If assigned delivery-driver duties, follow Trulieve policies and procedures for delivery associates.
As online support, process online orders, including deliveries, within a two-hour timeframe.
