About The Position

The Dispatcher coordinates and dispatches crews to the field to ensure customers receive the requested traffic control services. The role gathers job details from calendars and traffic control plans, communicates job information clearly to crews, and manages call-outs and schedule changes to continue meeting customer needs. Throughout the day, the Dispatcher responds to crew calls concerning matters such as safety issues, work zone setups, and scheduling conflicts. The position also involves understanding construction plans to help determine what is needed to accommodate contractors’ scopes of work.
