About The Position

The Part Time Dispatcher, 2nd Shift is responsible for entering late-night work orders into GTG, assigning drivers to orders, auditing billing and driver settlements, resolving issues, communicating with drivers and team members, maintaining dispatch records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The position is based in an office environment, requires no travel, and does not currently require on-call duties outside normal office hours.

The role involves sitting, standing, walking, driving, using hands, stooping, kneeling, talking, and lifting 10–50 or more pounds.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter late-night work orders into GTG.
• Assign drivers to new orders to support timely and efficient routing.
• Review and audit billing and driver settlements during downtime.
• Assist drivers and customers with issues or concerns that arise during the shift.
• Maintain effective communication with drivers and team members to facilitate smooth operations.
• Keep accurate records of dispatch activities and order statuses.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
