About The Position

Roto-Rooter is hiring a full-time Dispatcher for its Baltimore-area Call Center. The primary role is to drive sales by efficiently dispatching service technicians to sewer and drain, water restoration, and plumbing-related jobs. This is an evening, second-shift position that may include weekends. The hourly pay rate is $19.00–$21.00, depending on experience. Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to speak and write in English, with strong written and oral communication skills for effective customer service.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Be organized, thorough, attentive to detail, self-starting, and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

• AS400 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between field service technicians and customers.
• Distribute jobs to field service technicians.
• Manage service technicians’ workloads across a multi-state region.
• Keep customers informed about the arrival status of their assigned technician.
• Relay job details and other necessary information to service technicians.
• Resolve customer service concerns.
