Dispatcher 2nd Shift
About The Position
The Dispatcher drives sales by efficiently dispatching service technicians to sewer and drain, water restoration, and plumbing-related jobs. This is a full-time, second-shift evening position at Roto-Rooter’s Baltimore area Call Center. The role serves as the liaison between field service technicians and customers, distributing jobs and managing technician workloads across a multi-state region. The dispatcher also keeps customers informed about technician arrival status, relays job details to technicians, and resolves customer service concerns. The position may include weekends. The hourly pay rate is $19.00–$21.00, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Ability to multitask.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to speak and write in English, with good written and oral communication skills for effective customer service.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Self-starter who is organized, thorough, attentive to detail, and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual skills.
- Knowledge of AS400.
