About The Position

Pomp’s Tire Service is seeking a Dispatcher to manage tire service dispatch operations. The role involves answering and documenting incoming calls, resolving inquiries by coordinating with departments or field units, dispatching crews to designated locations, prioritizing calls, monitoring field routes and schedules, and maintaining operational records. The schedule is Saturday through Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Quick and accurate data entry skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 10 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and accurately document essential information.
• Address inquiries and issues, coordinating with relevant departments or field units for prompt resolution.
• Operate and manage a multi-line telephone system.
• Use phone or computer systems to dispatch crews and field units to designated locations.
• Assess and prioritize calls based on urgency to ensure timely responses.
• Monitor field unit routes and schedules to optimize daily operations.
• Maintain and update call logs, records, and other essential documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support dispatch operations.
